May Meeting Recap

We had a great meeting in May, with the primary activity being demo night! Our members are so talented and have many great ideas to share, and everyone had a great time.

Sarah taught us her Quilt as You Go Method. I know lots of people from our group are already thinking up great projects for this!

Vicki showed us different ways that you can embellish quilts with stitches and by sewing on additional flair. She had so many great examples!

Paula gave us great insider tips on things to remember when you drop your quilt off with a long-armer. So many important things we might not know otherwise!

And Debbie gave a DIY tutorial for a rotary cutting mat, designed by our member Trish. So simple and such a great tool to add to our sewing room.

Sew and Share showed off a lot of great projects, including from new member Natalie! Check out this amazing quilt that her grandfather long-armed for her! The hexie/circle combo is amazing.

Ann finished up this lovely neutral quilt for a friend of hers. Great use of a jelly roll!

Karen is making this quilt as a store sample for Oklahoma Quiltworks. The free hand quilting is amazing!

Debbie and Jennifer both made iPad cases. So darling and functional!

Ann was inspired by a bag that Karen brought to Sew and Share last year, so she made her own big bag from the same fabric! It is great to be inspired by our fellow members.

We have some exciting things going on this summer, and as our guild grows, we can't wait to see what happens!
