December Social & Handmade Ornament Exchange

 

DATE CHANGE! 

Our December meeting will be on Tuesday, December 14, at 6:30 p.m. at the Carriage House at Overholser Mansion. 

Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share, along with a serving utensil for your dish. We ask that everyone bring a mask and wear it in the food serving area. We will have tea and lemonade, but feel free to bring your own beverage. 

If you wish to participate in our handmade ornament exchange, bring a wrapped, handmade ornament with your name on the ornament or a "from" tag inside the package. It should be one you've sewn and/or quilted and/or a piece you've made that has some type of handwork such as embroidery, beading, big stitch, or other embellishment. 

We will also share our December mini challenge, which is to make a mini quilt with your name in Morse code.

November Meeting

 

Join us for our November meeting on Monday, November 8, at 6:30 p.m. for a presentation on quilt repair and restoration with local expert Martha Spark. 

We will meet at the Carriage House at Overholser Mansion, 405 NW 15th Street in Oklahoma City. Street parking is available on both sides of 15th Street. Masks required for all attendees.

October Meeting

 

 

 

Please join us for our next meeting on October 11 at 6:30 p.m., where the two groups who have been working on Round Robin quilts for the past six months will reveal their finished tops! Members will also show their mini quilt challenges (spider web or creep doll head themed) and other recent project finishes. 

 

We will be outdoors, and masks are required. In the event of weather, please watch our social media for updates.

September Social

 

Our September meeting will be an in-person social event outdoors at the Carriage House at Overholser Mansion! Please bring any show & share items with you, including the September mini quilt challenge. Bring a chair and some bug spray. Masks are required for all attendees.
